Paranormal

The Paranormal is a general term that describes unusual experiences that lack a scientific explanation, or phenomena alleged to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure. Notably, paranormal phenomena also lackscientific evidence, as detectable but not well explained phenomena such as dark matter or dark energy are not commonly called paranormal.
Stories relating to paranormal phenomena are found in popular culture and folklore, but thescientific community, as referenced in statements made by organizations such as the United StatesNational Science Foundation, maintains that scientific evidence does not support paranormal beliefs.

Tools of the trade

Whilst most groups use modern day technology we tend to use both.
It has been proven that most modern technology such as Infra Red Cameras etc
can be very easily tampered with tricking the public into thinking there is such a thing as a spirit present or Paranormal Event is taking place when no such thing is happening at all. We use nothing but logic and  everyday common sense in all of our investigations.

Film

We are currently finishing making several films within the Paranormal Industry and
working with a credible team who are involved in thefilm production industry
and will continue to make documetries such as Paranormal Phenomena with
credible eyewitnesses to prove or disprove on a scientific basis.

Ouija Boards

Ouija boards have been used to communicate with the dead since the end of the 19th Century. For some, they are a link to a loved one who has passed over. Others are simply curious to see what, if anything might happen and use the board to try and contact any spirit that wants to communicate with them. The board itself is rectangular, with letters of the alphabet written across it in a crescent moon shape and the numbers zero to nine written below. The words ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ should also appear on the board, with the word “Goodbye” usually at the bottom. A “planchette” (French for “little board”) is the pointer, traditionally on castors for ease of movement. You use a Ouija board by placing two fingers lightly on the planchette and asking direct questions to a spirit or spirits that may be present. The spirit will then supposedly answer by moving the planchette around the board to indicate letters and spell out words. When finished, you should move the planchette to “Goodbye” to signify that the séance is over.Ouija boards, also known as ‘Talking Boards’, have been produced since 1890 but there is some debate over who was responsible for the design and where the name originates.Spiritualism first appeared in the mid-19th Century and it was soon apparent that an instrument was needed that could provide an easy way of communication between the living and the dead. The Ouija board was patented in 1891 by Elijah Bond. Various weird and wonderful stories have grown up around the use of Ouija boards. In 1920 a small town in California, USA, banned their use after an outbreak of ‘Ouijamania’ which lead to many of the town’s residents behaving so oddly that mental health professionals were called in to help. The movie “The Exorcist” (1973) is apparently based on the true story of a child who allegedly evoked the spirit of the devil while using a Ouija board. A woman in the US claimed the numbers that won her over a million dollars on the lottery were picked by her Ouija board. For many a Ouija board is nothing more than a harmless parlour game but others believe that they can be dangerous, with the potential of allowing malevolent spirits access to the human world. Some professional mediums even advise using a Ouija board only with professional supervision to prevent any nasty surprises or long term consequences. Others argue that there is no external force at work and the planchette is moved subconsciously by the people touching it.

Orbs

Since the advent of digital cameras, there has been fierce debate on the authenticity of Orbs. They are circular blobs that appear on photographs taken on both digital and 35mm cameras.
The first Orb photographs were taken in cemeteries in the early 1990s, by American ghost hunters. They believed Orbs were the souls of the dead hovering over their gravestones. Orbs were then photographed in haunted locations suggesting that it was a form of energy associated with the paranormal.
For many years it was taken as fact that Orbs were paranormal activity but then various researchers began to prove that Orbs were not what they seemed. A group of English investigators showed that, depending on the camera, you would have different structured and coloured orbs. And not only that, but moisture and dust in the air caused similar effects.
Tests were undertaken with various substances including sand, dust and moisture. The results proved that the thousands of Orb photographs could be easily explained away. The manufacturers began to take note of the issues caused by Orbs and recent digital cameras are now fitted with an Orb-free filter, proving beyond a doubt that Orbs were little more than a technical glitch

EVP

Electronic Voice Phenomenon is the alleged communication with the dead using tape recorders and similar devices. The modern day belief in EVP began the early 1980s in the United States, when Sarah Estep claimed to have recorded thousands of voices using her husband’s tape recorder. The American Association of EVP was formed and now has members in twenty different countries. Twenty years earlier, Dr Konstantin Raudive was an exponent of EVP and published a number of books about his 70,000 messages, recorded over decades of research. His research became so popular that EVP is often known as “Raudive Voices”. In 1972 sound and radio engineers across Europe undertook with the Society of Paranormal Research experiments in the advancement of research into EVP. R.K. Shergold, the then chairman of SPR believed that the experiments proved beyond a doubt that the phenomenon was real. The sceptics were soon to highlight that the major problem with EVP is that any electronic device could pick up rogue transmissions caused by passing radio users. It is impossible to say that all EVPs are due to cross modulation, but they are likely to be caused this way.
