Wolston House
Wolston property was originally bought in 1851 by Dr Stephen Simpson over 150 years ago.The area back then was known as Woogaroo. By 1852 he had built Wolston House and by 1855 owned 2000 acres of land in Wacol and surrounding areas.
In 1860 the Goggs family acquired the house.
The house was damaged in 1893 by floods and used as a dairy farm by the Grindle family in 1907 till 1956.
The house was saved by demolition in 1960 by locals and given to the Natonal trust a non-for profit organisation. The National Trust have fully restored and opened the house to it's former glory to the public for High Teas, Venues, Weddings etc .
The house is also open to the public on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month.
SBPP teamed up with NZ Paranormal on Saturday the 13th Feb to conduct a
paranormal tour. However we are still looking at some of the evidence that was taken on the night, evp's, photos, interviews etc. We will be posting the investigation details shortly.

Wolston House was great! A very intriguing & spooky site. South Brisbane Paranormal and NZ Paranormal were excellent hosts with a sensible and rational approach to the paranormal and I look forward to the next investigation!

I did the Wolston House Paranormal Investigation with Kellie and WOW. A very spooky but pleasant experience and highly recommended to anyone who is interested in the paranormal. Have done other tours!! with another company and Kellies is by far the most geniune and interesting, will definately be back for more. Can't wait.
